Bad news I'm afraid mate. Rumours are that they are being sold to Udon for 60 million bt. Your best bet is new team Inter pattaya

Really so sad is that confirmed ? or just another rumour. Pattaya United have so much scope to develop as a big team in Thailand with the Thais crazy about football, Also the expansion here is so rapid, With a large amount of overseas people living here, The potential for Pattaya is massive, As usual its all down to money and investors

New Ownership took over inJan.of 2015.

In January 2015 the club was sold to Enigma Sport Ventures (ESV), the sporting arm of the Enigma Global. It marked the first change in ownership in the club history, after several lucrative bids were submitted for the Kunpluem family's consideration. The family, and Pattaya United board felt that the club's best interest, and future lies with Enigma Sport Ventures.

The new ownership's management team moves very quickly in rebranding the club, appointing the new President, Club's first foreign Head Coach, and securing 8 top players from TPL to play in the Division One. Many of which were former "first 11" players from Muangthong United FC, as well as couple Thai and foreign national team players.

Last season is over with with Pattaya United finishing second in there relegated Division one Class.

The New Season begins February 27/28th

Thanks for the info guys. Late Feb seems a strange time to start, just coming into hottest time of year. It would make sense for Udon to buy them, half the population is here.

Type Pattaya united into face book. There are number of pages that come up for the team, many are closed groups but I am sure you could join them and probably meet the guys who go to the games.
