Republican party drops NBC as host for February debate
BY BNO NEWS

WASHINGTON: -- The Republican National Committee has decided to drop NBC as the host for one of the Republican debates next month and will award it to CNN instead.

Monday’s announcement came months after the Republican National Committee “suspended” its partnership with NBC to host a debate in Houston on February 26. That followed after what the Republican party called “gotcha” questions designed to embarrass candidates during a CNBC debate in October.

“The Republican National Committee has decided to move forward without NBC’s participation in the February debate in Houston, Texas,” Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus said in a statement. “The RNC has awarded the debate to CNN, who will broadcast it on Thursday, February 25 in Houston at a location to be decided.”

NBC question are too hard. facepalm.gif

If CNN had any journalistic integrity they would decline the debate.

Preibus is sadly proving Chuck Todd's point about the right. If the media don't kiss their ass gently enough they'll find someone else who will.

Put the Republican Debates where they really belong, The Cartoon Network!

wonder why the RNC didn't award them to Fox--FNN, the Fabricated News Network

The Republicans need a team of 20 people to write a response for every debate question and another 20 to prep the candidates with canned responses. In other words the puppet master needs to know which strings to pull on their puppets.

Republicans accuse Obama of being divisive.bah.gif Such hypocrites. NBC is too "New York values" for them.

They've had some already, both on Faux News and Faux Business News.

I think they're scared NBC might actually ask them some challenging questions.

You know like "Oi Trump, when are you going to sort out that barnet!".

etc.

The questions by CNBC were not hard...they were insulting to Presidential candidates! They would never consider asking the Dem candidates such disrespectful questions.

Cruz: "You know, let me say something at the outset. The questions that have been asked so far in this debate illustrate why the American people don't trust the media. This is not a cage match. And, you look at the questions -- 'Donald Trump, are you a comic-book villain?' 'Ben Carson, can you do math?' 'John Kasich, will you insult two people over here?' 'Marco Rubio, why don't you resign?' 'Jeb Bush, why have your numbers fallen?'

"How about talking about the substantive issues the people care about?"

Republican voters want to here about the important issues of the day...not stupid personal questions designed to provoke the candidates and make the debate a Saturday Night Live skit...

Liberal Democratic lifers love this stuff...their whole premiss is that they are so smart and savvy...while Repubs are clod hoppers and hillbillies...

What you really are...is mean spirited, classless, and clueless...IMHO

Just look at your two candidates...a money grubbing lifetime prevaricator...and a socialist who would distribute even more of worker's hard earned income to those who have no intention of ever working...you should be so proud...

Do me a favour.

During Thursday's presidential debate, Kelly pressed Trump about misogynistic, sexist comments he made in the past, such as calling some women "fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals."

Trump slammed Kelly, saying her questions were "ridiculous" and "off-base."

"You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes," Trump told CNN's Don Lemon on Friday night. "Blood coming out of her wherever."

I would have asked him "Why are you such a chauvinistic, boorish oaf, and how do you expect woman to vote for a dinosaur like you?"

How many Democrat debates have been held or are scheduled to be held on Fox News?

Maybe Fox wouldn't let them hide their candidates on Christmas Eve night.
