Totaly out of order should be ashamed of themselves but they won't be.

Everyday occurance look on FB the vultures taking videos and posting them of dead people blood and guts after a crash or the like.

However taking pictures of his little girl is lower than low.

Publicity seemed to fit him fine when he was alive, fair game.

"They also photographed Por’s two-year-old daughter Malee at the hospital"

which was a nightly feature on the news. If the family found this so unpleasant, maybe they could have taken some action to prevent the exploitation of their child during those weeks?

And if Thais are really so outraged, maybe they could reserve a little bit of outrage for the Dengue fever epidemic in Thailand, and the apparent incompetence of the authorities and fellow Thais to do anything about it......

Probably it is ok if 600 Thais die - as long as they are not "superstars"

For goodness sake this is about a man's death and a two year old who only wanted to see her dad everyday. She was not fair game for the press as for turning his death into some sort of its the Thai goverment fault is another thread surley a little compassion for his family.

First of all: I think, it despicable to do such things.

Having said that: they only care, because it is one of their beloved "Superstars"!

If it would be the average Somchai Watchingporn, maimed in a car accident- no one would give two hot sh1ts!

Well duh!

No one caresif nobody Joe Whitebread dies but everyone seems to be mourning the deaths of Glen Frey, David Bowie and Alan Rickman.

Thing is those three had real talent and will be sadly missed, there are many who mourn their passing, yet I doubt the press in the places they died will storm vehicles carrying their corpses for a final picture.

Well, excepting the Sun and even then I doubt they'd sink this low.

When the gas tanker exploded just off the expressway incinerating 150 people in 1990 was it , a colour supplement with naked "ghosts" like zombies wearing just belts hit the streets in hours. When singer Phumpuang Duangjan died the supplements showed her bloated body in all its grisly details. Further back when Nikki Lauda's airliner crashed people were selling passports and other knickknacks from the crash site on trestle tables. Guys, Thais love a good gawk and the outrage of netizens will change nothing. Now, to go back and click that link.....

You beat me to it doc... I hope readers don't find that callous, but that's journalist for you, and paparazzi are an even worse type of vulture... But despite this, as you say.... "Fair game"

They were at the top of their game

At the top of their game... Maybe... But methinks it more that those named effected millions worldwide, and as household names, they will be remembered for a very long time... Perhaps not like Spartacus, but we still know of Jim Morrison, John Lennon, Janis Joplin and mother Teresa.

Here's one for the album! Quick selfie, turned it into a farce.

If they had wanted to keep it from turning into a free for all then closed coffin, back way out and gone. They got the publicity they desired.
