60 day extension with wife's Thai passport possible?

Featured Replies

My wife (Thai) and me wanted to go to Chaengwattana to apply for a 60 days extension ("visiting wife") for my Multiple Entry Non Immigrant O (based on marriage).

Now she cannot find her Thai ID card ;-)

She has her Thai passport though.

Do you know if she can use her Thai passport instead?

My common sense tells me Yes ... but then again you never know.

Do you have a copy of her Thai ID card someplace. They might accept the passport if you do.

No, we don't have any.

But since you wrote "they might accept" it sounds a little bit risky.

Looks like my wife has to hurry and get a new ID card.

Thanks anyway ubonjoe
