It amazes me that there are still people who defend the temple and its bogus claims.

Yes. It's all about the money. A culture where the price of everything is calculated to within 3 decimal places, but the actual value of anything seems to mystify all.

Whereas punching shows how poorly trained they are at the temple the thread below is far more significant - it accuses the temple of trafficking tigers over a long pweriod and presents video "evidence"

Here's a link to the trafficking report

Those big cats have a memory and remember his scent......What goes around, comes around........

too drugged.

If the tiger had not been drugged, he would have ripped him appart even if he had been a lovely trainer for all his life and that was a simple mistake.

So forget it, wont ever happen unless they run out of drugs.

Nonsense - it's a pity that people can't see beyond the drug allegations to the bigger picture which shows the temple to be the eco-disaster it is.....

Hot on the heels of the earlier post where a baby elephant was abused in CM,,,,

fro the locals, an animal is just an animal and thus can be abused and mistreated....

These are not little dogs or cats. These are wild animals. And when one of the "snaps" and rips some worker to pieces, the facility has no one to blame but themselves.

Wow, what a tough guy! Showing his incredible bravery in front of tourists. I like people who have guts but in this case I would be delighted if the tiger showed us all his guts; on the ground after disembowelling him.

Can't really see what the guy on the very left (holding the tiger) does, but the punk in yellow (coming from the right) just rams a stick into the ground in front of the tiger to then (clearly satisfied with himself, the arrogant prick) slowly walk off...

However, we all know that most people running such attractions have none whatsoever love or sympathy for the animals they are exploiting/abusing. All we can hope for is, that eventually they'll receive their punishment via Karma, what means that the tigers, some day - when those people least expect it - will turn on their "masters" and devour their flesh...

I, for myself, will boycott such places and tell friends and relatives to avoid them.

Of course, all of those people running and working at such tourist attractions are foreigners, since Thais would never do such despicable things, especially are they not fiddling about at black markets, trading protected animals, they'd never do that! Hence, "Severe crackdown on part foreign-owned tour operators - how does that sound, officer Somchai?" "Grrrreaaat and fantastic, seargant Aroon!"

To the tiger that must have felt like a finger poke on a leg.

The real issue is why does this man risk his life looking after animals that will eat him if the idea crosses their mind and even tries to provoke his last meal.

there are always a few "westerners" "volunteering at the place

The temple is now not allowed to charge visitors to the place.

There are still many well-known tour companies who should know better offering tours of the place and charging accordingly. If the mass tours stopped thew temple would flounder

Time for the animal to demonstrate to this idiot why the tiger has evolved into one of the most powerful and deadly predators on the planet while this keeper has evolved seemingly without the "sapiens" label usually attached to our species

dont be daft it can never be "their" fault

Scum. People should boycott any kind of animal jail in any case. Especially the ones where they drug the animals to be docile, just that some idiots can take a picture of themselves with the animal

The Chinese tour groups will keep these things making money. They have no scruples.
