Does anyone know how up to date the bank book information has to be at Jomptien immigration. I have looked through past TV info forums on the subject and only one that I could find that was relevant was one about Phuket. It states that the info on the bank book must not over one week old, is this the same at Jomptien? Thanks.

I did my 1 year extension in December and did my my last bank book update(stamp) and letter from the bank one week previously.

I think they will accept up to 2 weeks but you would need to check and confirm that with them.

I would suggest 1 week to be on the safe side.

Thanks for the info, 1 week is more than acceptable, I wasn't sure wether it had to be the same day. It seems that not all offices operate the same way.

To be safe I would get a the letter no sooner than a day or 2 before you plan on applying for the extension.

I doubt they would accept a week early.

Do the day before at least.

Depends on how busy they are and if all your documents are in order. Took me about 1.5 hours or so including queue time. They have some new people there now and reorganised the office layout. They're generally very good though. Just make sure you have exactly what is needed otherwise it may take a good deal longer.
