January 28, 201610 yr Start with a METV which, with an extension of stay (1,900 baht) will see you through the first two trips. Then when you return home in Feb 2017 get a SETV which, with a 30 day extension, will cover that last 3 months. You will have to exit the country every 60 days or buy a 30 day extension of stay and exit every 90 days. If you can't get a METV your only choice would be 3 SETV's, plus a border run to get a visa exempt entry to cover Jan 17. You cannot legally work as a tourist, however, the authorities currently tolerate DN's. Even so you are best advised to keep your work under the radar when applying for visas and entering the country.

How do you think they will know I am working from there as I wont open a company and all my business payments are sent to my countries bank account. You think its safe?

The METV could be but depends on your country of residence. Many countries require you to prove you're working or have a business and need to see money in the bank over a 6 month period. Getting 3 SETV' isn't a big deal. Just apply each time you return home. No one will know that you are working unless you tell them. It seems safe at the moment and there are many DN's working openly here. Edited January 28, 201610 yr by elviajero
January 29, 201610 yr For the METV a lot will depend on what consulate you are applying and in which country. Some require proof of employment and some not. Also you require such things bank acc with a minimum amount etc. Extensive thread on METV topic you can check if it's an option for you.
