elviajero
I don't know where these people get their crazy ideas from. It's obvious they are still learning and learning the hard way. There's no law stating that you need to hire Thai nationals. Yes, if you NEED to hire employees they need to be Thai nationals. If a foreigner wishes to open a business AND have a Work Permit the the rules associated with employing local labour will need to be met. If he/ she wants to hire a foreigner, whether he or she is Thai or not, they must have at least 4 local nationals as employees. You can own a business strictly on paper, no building, bank account,no trading, and , and it will still support a b-visa. A "B' visa doesn't give permission to work. You can only work with a work permit!
IMA_FARANG
It has been tried before....such as giving the money to a Thai woman to start a business that will hire you. Often it doesn't work....because that scam has been seen before to get around the work permit rules and often will be closely investigated. More often though the Thai woman realizes there is no reason she simply can't keep the money for herself, and the Foreigner involved has no legal way to get the money back from her.
