Am I Ok for Visa Exempt from Laos after DETV?

Featured Replies

I am currently here on the second entry of a double entry tourist visa (which i have already extended for 30 days). I would like to stay in thailand another month and wanted to check if I should be ok for

a visa exempt entry if i go over to Laos (at friendship bridge Nong khai). My passport has 4 non-0 visas (from when they were easily available from Hull) and 2 double entry tourist visas but no Visa Exempt entries. I could possibly get a SETV from Vientiene but ideally i would like to just go over for a weekend,so i wanted to confirm if a visa exempt should be ok and if ok to just stay for 1 night.

I am sorry if this has already been covered but i know things keep changing and i wanted to get the latest advise.

Many thanks.

You are not doing a visa run with back to back stamp. No problem.

Only visa exempt entries are counted when doing an entry for one. No problem to do one after having a visa,
