mortenaa
Hi, So in general 1 foreigner = 4 staff, but as I understand, its not the for the actual Work Permit, but for getting the yearly extension. Correct? So my question is, if the 1st foreigner can get his permission to stay based on other grounds (eg. married or PR), do we still need 8 staff to renew the 2nd foreigners extension of stay? ubonjoe
It is 4 Thai employees for each foreign employee to get a work permit. They did away with the 2 Thai employees rule for those married to a Thai or having PR to get a work permit in 2010. But there are a few work permit offices that still follow the old rule. mortenaa
OK! This is Bangkok. So I guess new rules? That means if I successfully get a PR (which I am currently applying for), we need a total of 6 employees?
ubonjoe
I think it will be 8 employees.
