Multi O last entry.

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Sorry if this has been covered before but I want to be 100% ish. sure...lol!

My 1 year multi O from marriage expires mid October 2016. I leave the kingdom every 90 days....Just want to be sure that if I re-enter a few days before the expiry of the current visa that I will be granted another 90 day stay, meaning that all is good until mid January 2017?

Thank you :).

each entry on the multi non-imm O visa gives you 90 days permission to stay on each entry, even if you do the entry on the last day of the visa validity period. The visa and permission to stay are separate, so your permission to stay will still be valid when your visa expires.

If you need to leave thailand on that last stamp and the visa is expired, then you need to get a re-entry stamp, which can be done at any local immigration office or most Thai int'l airport immigrations offices.

meaning that all is good until mid January 2017?

Yes.

Enter Thailand before or on the "ENTER BEFORE" date on the visa sticker.

Thats it.

Proven from experience.

A Non O multi gives up to 15 months.

A Non O-A gives up to two years.

Cheers.....Thank you for your time...that is great :)

Leave and enter on your last day of the visa you will get another 90 days and if you want you can extend for another 60 days at immigration, technically you get 17 months out of the visa.
