Does anyone know where I can buy a metal detector in BKK? I will be staying on Sukhumvit so some place close to there would be ideal? Maybe Pantip Plaza?

I saw them on the second floor of Amarin Plaza (Chit Lom) in the shop that has all of the Radio Shack goodies.

They had two models... not cheap (over 20K) but look like good quality.

what sort of MD ?a walk thru type or hand held ? scanning bodies or digging up loose change?
