Where in Bangkok to extend 30-day exempt?

Featured Replies

Sorry as I'm sure this is covered somewhere in the TV archives, but need a quick answer please. As titled, where does one go to get extension for 30-day exempt in Bangkok? And will getting it in advance of first 30 days expiry shorten the 60 days total? Thanks!

You can apply for it at Chaeng Wattana immigration. Map and info on how to get there is here, http://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/location1.html

You loose no days if you apply early, The extension starts from the date your current entry ends.

You will go to http://bangkok.immigration.go.th/intro1.html

Immigration Division 1 The Government Complex Chaengwattana Road

You are getting another visa free entry and it will be added on to the first one.

But your total is two visa exempt entries....no more after that without leaving Thailand and returning.

So you will get 60 days total only.

It is not another entry. It is a 30 day extension of the 30 day entry he has now.

Only one extension can be done per entry.
