Hello all,

i have a METV. it has been one month since i entered thailand since getting the METV. I have until March 6th to either a. get an extension or b. just leave the country and re-enter.

i have a family emergency, should i get a re-entry permit or just exit the country and return whenever i would ?

i would probably be gone for 3 weeks to one month

would this affect my METV in any way?

Just leave the country. Nothing will happen to your METV. You'll get another 60 days when you come back.

So long as you re-enter Thailand before the "Enter Before" date on your visa you'll be just fine.

Yes. With your Visa you can come and go as you wish

• As long as you re-enter before the visa expires ('enter before' date) you will be granted a new 60 day permit to stay so there is no need for a re-entry permit.

The visa allows you to enter as often as you want for 6 months from the issue date of the visa (not your first entry).
