You are probably using a foreign website, they make money, not the Thai company who deliver the flowers.

Agreed, I have tried several online florists, and Flowers2Thailand has had the best prices I have found. Good flowers plus various gift baskets etc.

Roses are a waste of money why women are obsessed with these I don't know. One Chinese girl I dated said she was disappointed I didn't buy her flowers on every date. I own a house, have a 6 fig salary, fit and healthy.

After me she dated this British Chef, no money, no house, renter, brought her flowers every time - It was over in a month.

Not against love and romance in fact have bought flowers before when in country no problem its nice gesture but bloody hell don't get obsessed with them!!!! They could sell 100 roses at 50 baht each or 10 roses for 500 baht each and pocket Baht 5000 either way. They seem to have a commendable grasp on western capitalism as well as the farang notion of meaningless gestures designed to fluff their own self-importance. A couple of roses will demonstrate my priceless love for you as long as the price is cheap enough.

Roses are not looked at the same way as foreigners do- they are CHEAP any market 5 for 20- 25 baht. If you want to impress a Thai lady then roses are not the thing

Roses, maybe the price is way up for Valentines Day because 3 years ago I was in Bkk and I was suprised how cheap roses were. I bought 1 dozen red roses from a street vendor on Sukhumvit Rd near Nana for only 240 Baht.

Valentine roses are huge and yes also expensive.

Darn, right they do, none of my other wives wanted 500 roses at our wedding. But then they only lasted 10 years apiece and she has lasted 20+ so far.
