Buddha statue...looking for identification

Hi guys,

I'm looking for any information I can find of standing buddha.

But the material obviously differs.
Measures 21" L, 6" W
Is this statue on the photo also so valuable and from the 19th century?

It appears to be a Standing Buddha with gesture of "Forbidding the Relatives from Fighting", from the U-Tong period.

They usually stand center of base, not on the back.

Where did you get it, and what material is it made from ?

It's not mine, someone ask me to find out anything I can. I'm not sure about the material, looks like bronze. This is propably a copy, isn't worth much?

You have very little chance of getting a true valuation, take it to one of the amulet markets and look for the response from the traders. Take note of any offers you get for future reference .
