I'm gonna do my extension of retirement tomorrow, and was of the impression that I could do my 90 day report at the same time.

I now look in my passport and I was supposed to rfeport on the 1st of February.

What this is gonna cost me?

2.000 Baht.

Thanks, I know better uses for that kind of money though.

Yes but you should have thought about that last week.

A lesson learned.

Be polite, smile, excuse, low key attitude might save you the penalty.

It happens. Depends on which office. Unlikely in Bangkok I guess.

Maybe the times are over when one big note under the table did the job.

It cost me 2,000 baht. I got a receipt and a stamp in my passport as a souvenir.

I can only hope for that, but we will see tomorrow, will not hold my breath for it.

Now I have a reason to install a reminder on my phone.

Good luck brother, time just goes fast sometimes.

You should have invested in a calendar, the Banks were giving them away

late last year, now it;s most likely going to cost you 2K THB.

This happened to me also. Forgot for over 20 + days. They asked me for 2,000 baht. I told him my wife took all my money from my wallet

last night, and is now at Paragon shopping. The guy laughed and said OK.

"Be polite, smile, excuse, low key attitude ..."

Always amazing that (supposed) adults might need to be told to "act" politely.

On the other hand, I suppose it's necessary for some ... based on the comments made by more than a few posters on TV who apparently approach immigrations while being rude, apoplectic, offensive and ballistic ... and mystified that things don't go well.
