Visa at Vientiane-how many working days?

Featured Replies

I have applied in other Thai embassies and if you present your papers early on the day you get your visa on the next day.

Does anyone one if it's the same in Vientiane?

Thanks

Apply the morning of one day and pick up the next afternoon.

Recently did it. Takes 2 days. Apply in the morning and collect the following afternoon

You can apply between 08:30 and 11:30 on day one and collect your passport/visa between 13:30 and 15:30 on day two.

Being in the queue as early as you can manage on Day 1 will not only get you out early on Day 1, but will get you a low queue number that gets you out early on Day 2 as well. And at least on the Monday I was there, the queue started forming EARLY (well before 0830).

Everyone does this. Bad advice. Gotta zig when everyone zags. I went at 11am and there was 15 people in line! Then, next day, go at 3pm and there is a zero wait.
