Are option agreements used or legally recognized in Thailand.

...sounds like another option for unsuspecting individuals...with no real options....to lose their shirts....

Assuming you are talking about a "buy" option in a lease agreement than yes, they are legal and enforceable.

If properly recorded at the Land Office and noted on the title.
