New Laws - Anyone Can Hold Only One Citizenship

Featured Replies

Taksin said that his government would make a law to state that no one could

hold more than one citizenship.

I have already had dual citizenship..... What I should do?

Just go on with your ( dual ) life. The lead time to change the laws ( if they ever do ) will be great. A lot of upper class Thai would be caught by such a change, so they'll be a powerful lobby against change.

...not to mention all the "luk kreung" that keep the media, film and tv industry rolling.

I have to say though, that if push came to shove, then my wife's thai passport would go in the bin far sooner than her aussie passport.
