Which Immigration Office to use in Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hi All. I have a couple of questions: Can I use any Immigration office in Bangkok to get a 30 day tourist extension? Where can I look to find locations of Immigration offices in Bangkok?

Chiang Watanna is the immigration office in Bangkok. Or are you asking about adjacent cities?

If your address is in Bangkok the only office you can use is at Chaeng Wattana. Map and info on how to get here is here: http://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/location1.html

Thanks. I was confused because i read a Thaivisa post about someone using the Major Hollywood on Suksawat Rd, which is easy for me to get to, but the web site lists only Laos, Cambodia, and Mynmar.

Others can do 90 day address reports there but that is all - for extensions you must use Chiang Watanna.

Do I need to find a copy center and place to get my picture or can I get that done there?

There are places one floor down (ground floor) that can take care of that but I would have with me and download TM.7 and fill out and attach photo (print on both sides of A4 paper). Have copies of passport data page and visa/arrival stamp(s) and departure card. Include phone number on back of TM7 along with address. You can fill out TM.7 in MS Office and then print/glue photo/sign.
