Russian Orthodox leader Patriarch Kirill meets penguins in Antarctica



ANTARCTICA: -- Patriarch Kirill, visiting Antarctica for the first time, has been to the continent’s only Russian Orthodox Church.

Invited by the Russian Antarctic Expedition, he prayed for the planet and also also took the opportunity for an encounter with a colony of penguins on King George Island – and an explanation from the scientists about their behaviour.

but I guess the penguins had more faith on the Lord protecting them than the Patriarch
