tomx2
Hi. If I want stay in Thailand 4 months. I get a single 60 day Tourist Visa In the U.S. After 60 days, I apply for the 1st 30 day extension at Jomtien. After 90 days, could I use one of the Visa agencies and do a quick out/in Visa run to get a 2nd 30 day extension or would it be 15 days? Any limit to the no# of extension allowed per year? Thanks. TC.
ubonjoe
You would get a new entry not an extension by doing a border run. Extensions are only be obtained at an immigration office. You will only get a 15 day visa exempt entry unless you are from a G7 country which allows for a 30 day entry. Either of those can be extended for 30 days for a fee of 1900 baht at an immigration office. At the crossings to Cambodia near Pattaya they only allow a total of 90 days on visa exempt entries in a calendar year. You might get more at other crossings. elviajero
If you are only staying 4 months then a SETV (60 days) + a 30 day extension of stay from immigration (1,900 baht) + a visa exempt entry (assuming you are from the US you would get 30 days) would work.
