I'm planning on traveling to Vietnam with my Thai girlfriend,(i'm English), on Wensday for a holiday and was wondering if anyone has any information on getting a visa on arrival. We will be entering Vietnam through Hanio Airport. From what i've been reading we will be able to get a visa on arrival at Hanio Airport which will be valid for thirty days when we pass through immagration. Can anyone confirm this for me please?

A bit tight your schedule. Perhaps better to hop over to the S.R. Vietnam Embassy in Bangkok and see if they give you a visa within 24 hours.
