I have a simple idea that may not have a simple answer.

I ride motorcyles for fun and ahve met many othres who have an interst in group rides, the problem finding out about them. So I thought of a simple forum to share ride information, setting up rides. Shring inforamtioon abiout shops Mechanics, pretty simple stuff.

Some do exist but not for The Issan area.

I was told to do a search on free forums did so and was overwhelmed haven't a clue as to whcih one to use.

Anyone got any ideas. By, now you have to know I'm a novice when it comes to computers

you might want to start by visiting this site. Opensourcecms. check out the forum section. you should know that you need webhosting to get your forum up and running. good luck!

The sub thread idea is the best thing I have heard, I would be at a totla los in trying to run any kind of form, just don't know if there would be enough interest from the group.

perhaps you could start a new thread in the motoring section of this forum and get some support.

Hard to keep people posting

Hard to be know outside

Have a sub forum in TV :

Great exposure (best farang website in thailand)

Capacity to reliate on a group of seasoned moderators

Capacity to have new posters on a quasi hourly basis

It will be only a sub forum inside the biggest farang website in thailand.

Thank guys fro your input, it didn;t take long to figure out it was way beyond me. Fortunatley GTrider Baord has agreed to set up a section for Issan rioders so we can get together from time to time and shre our hobby. I really do appreciate all your input again

I personally like Forumotion.com. It's not a down loadable type of forum, but it is very customizable, easy to use, and if you know what you are doing you can make a dam_n good looking board.
