CDC confirms all suggestions for draft constitution will be carefully considered

BANGKOK, 23 February 2016 (NNT) – Constitution Drafting Committee (CDC) spokesman Amorn Wanitwiwat confirmed that the CDC will consider all suggestions and review the draft constitution for the sake of national interests.

The CDC spokesman confirmed that the CDC would consider everything carefully and called on the public to be confident that the panel will not respond to any party’s wishes and aims to facilitate the road map so that there can be an election as planned.

He commented that the draft constitution could obviously meet the needs of the people who would accept it only if it was correctly understood.

"carefully considered" by who? The the interim Government and/or the NCPO? Does the CDC have the last say?

"it only if it was correctly understood. Now that is the crux of the matter, eh? So do they really care about comments and opinion from the public?

Negative comments and suggestions will be carefully written down.
