PATTAYA: -- As a family worshipped in a local temple on Monday Night, their house was ransacked and items of value were taken.

Police were called to the house of Khun Payao aged 79, who lives in a four-storey shop-house on the Sukhukmvit Road, 500 meters from Boonganjanaram Temple in Jomtien, where he went with his family to celebrate “Makha Buscha”.

When he returned to his home, he saw the front door had been forced open and inside the second and third floors had been ransacked.

Why was only his home targeted? What are banks for, if not to store one's mobile wealth? Unless they have to remain in darkness?

Wow. Look for the closest neighbor who smiles a lot.
