mosquitoman
Im not sure what to do. My old passport is currently at the British Embassy, I am waiting for a new one. I now find myself wanting to take an domestic flight I have always been asked to produce mny passport when checking in for domestic flights. However I photocopied my old passport, have a receipt from the embassy, have a valid work permit, I am wondering if I will be able to fly, without producing an actual passport. Anyone have any experience? Thanks to all that answer. MM

bubba
I have always simply used my home driver's license without a problem, just because it is in my billfold and easier to take out. Nobody has ever asked for a passport instead for a domestic flight, and this is after perhaps 50 domestic flights. That said, as others have noted, many hotels want to see a passport and your visa stamp/TM card.
