There is also limited baht bus service on Thepprasit. Wave down, board, and pay 10 baht. If the driver wants to talk to you, he's trying to get you to charter the truck. The bikes will find you.

On THEPPRASIT the regular baht bus service exists but is quite limited compared to the beach side routes.
