Where buy a good helmet !

Featured Replies

I'm looking for a store to buy a good motorcycle helmet size XL quality as AIROH brand or other famous brand. Any feedback from Watcharin Yamaha dealer Honda dealer or Kawasaki dealership on the Sukhumvit road ?

I think you are talking about ARAI helmets. I bought one at Red Baron BKK. In 2 weeks time it started falling apart. Air vents chattering your brain, etc. Parts are not available in Thailand and some parts are not available anywhere but the factory in Japan. The face shield mounts are a plastic POS.

They do have other brands available at Red Baron. Maybe they have a better one. I have heard good things about Shark brand but I have no experience with them.

Too many to chose from .

Mai Thai on Soi buakhao has a massive range .

New shop on Pattaya tai , near the mosque another choice

Shop on the corner of 3 road and Soi lengkee

D-Zone on Pattaya Klang has (or had) AGV helmets.

Brand name "Real" helmets are DOT approved

( still the only Thai made helmet DOT approved ? ? )

available in lots of stores in Pattaya are cheap and have spares readily available.

Yes.

Sorry, just saw your location question. GT sells Shark, Bilmola (I had two, the first one I successfully tested on asphalt) and Arai, I think. But it's been 1.5 years since I went in there.

Recently bought a 'Shark' brand helmet and so far have been quite pleased with it.

Five year guarantee, free pinlock anti-fogging insert, quick release sun visor etc

Mityon get some of their helmets and jackets from Panda Rider, their accessories shop next to the Kawasaki Showroom on Sukhumvit between South and Central used to have them, maybe there's some old stock available still.

Upstairs in their headquater on corner of 3rd road and South road stock a lot of apparel too I think
