Proof of residence: do I have enough proof?

Featured Replies

I need to get a proof of residence certificate from Immigration.

I have a lease agreement but no other proof of residence as I get no utility bills in my name.

It seems that utility bills are required!

The only thing I have with my name and address on it is a Lazada delivery note!

Will this lack of utility bill be a problem?

How do other people solve this problem?

On what basis are you staying in Thailand ?

If your address is registered with your local immigration office there should not be any problem

The lease agreement will be enough if it has a copy of the owners ID card and house book attached.

I'm on a retirement extension and my lease is from my landlord-wife!!

So, I'll just add a copy of the blue book and of her passport, and all should be well.

Many thanks!

Exactly as ubonjoe says.

The name of the owner needs to match between the lease, the house register and the ID card. If you are renting from someone other than the actual owner, she needs to provide a power of attorney signed by the owner and his signed ID card copy too. I had that situation in my last place.
