A bit pedantic. Freshies?

When will they discover a miniscule of originality?

I'm ignorant so I googled 'Freshie'.

Slang.com says it means imigrant. As does the Oxford dictionary.

Australians say it's crocodile.

Just saying

Yet you are able to tear apart a positive story and spin something negative about it.

Who is pedantic again?

A freshman is an American term commonly used to mean a person entering the first year of an educational institution

A freshman is an American term commonly used to mean a person entering the first year of an educational institution

And in India, the term Fresher denotes someone who has recently completed their university studies and is entering the professional job market for the first time.

It's not difficult to determine that in the context of this article, Freshie refers to new students, as in "new students are welcome".

Well the youngest is 40 yrs old and the oldest is 80.

It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation.

With the innate culture of copying prevalent in Asian culture. To label these outgoing life long learners as Freshies ain't an innovative start is it.

Freshies they ain't.

Blah blah blah.

My use of the term "freshie" has nothing to do with education, or migrants but I am sure

most would understand what I was referring to. whistling.gif

I read it as 'fetishists'.

It wasn't until I saw the included pic and scrolled back up to re-read the title that I realised my error. Wow, is my face red now!

I wonder if there is any sort of sale on at Top Charoen, I fear my reading spectacles may be in need of replacement.
