with walking/jogging track and shady spots too relax as well....

yep, at last opened about a month ago. We walk there most mornings, wife uses the exercise machines after 17.00. Very very popular with all age groups. I believe it's part of the deal to get another 30 year land lease. I congratulate Club Med on the thought they put into equipment and security ...

A similar one opened up next to Wat Chalong a little while ago, really good use of money.

Nai Harn also has something similar, fitness equipment with locals using it.

Same with Tsunami Memorial Park Kamala. Fitness equipment that is. They also seem to be keeping the park much cleaner since the equipment was installed about a month ago.

Can not compare this club med park park to Exercise park in Nai Harn built by the town on a trash dump...

Went by there yesterday and nicely done !! For sure had to be the agreement to continue the lease as wasn't it last year or so when the lease was up?

I just hope somebody maintains it.

The previous 30 year lease for Club Med ended abut September last year. Big article in the Phuket Press about how the local people did not want another 30 year lease given.
