A warning to auto travellers around Bangkok. At the Intersection of the West Bound Outer Ring Road and Rama II there is a ticket trap that is very expensive. I use Garmin gps system which directs you to move left to get on the entry to Rama II (Hwy 35). There is indeed an exit there to enter onto the circular road going South on Hwy 35, but it is blocked off by the Police. Your are then funnelled into the toll booth closest to you which is manned full time by the police who then issue you a 2000 baht ticket. You can avoid this when traveling west on the Outer Ring by NOT listening to your Garmin device and moving over earlier about 1 km or so left to the sign marked Samut Sakhon.
