Thailand - China launch new youth camp to further cultural exchange

BANGKOK, 16 March 2016 (NNT) - The Deputy Education Minister has presided over the opening ceremony of a Thai - Chinese youth camp to allow students and teachers between the two countries to exchange knowledge and experience in the fields of science and technology.

Deputy Education Minister Teerakiat Charoensethasin and Chinese Ambassador to Thailand His Excellency Ning Fukui co-chaired the opening ceremony of the youth camp and celebrated 40 years of bilateral ties. The program also hopes to strengthen diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Dr Teerakiat said Thailand and China have had numerous exchanges of culture and expertise in the past. He said the camp will serve as another avenue of knowledge sharing for students and teachers from the two countries.

Mr Ning added that the camp serves as an opportunity for Chinese youths to fully experience Thai culture, while serving as a good example of the close relationship between Thailand and China.

The youth camp will take place between March 15th and 21st in Bangkok and Chonburi province.

Here we go.

Chinese - Thai relations have been strong for years with this being a non event under any other sitting Thai government and scenarios like this are not uncommen, but under this government if a red ant bit Prayut they would suggest Prayut is leaning towards communism.

And all but the most ardent junta supporters see the gradual slide towards countries with a less than stellar human rights record.

BTW, if a red ant bit Uncle Too it would probably be blamed on a certain someone in Dubai.

Which language will they speak to eachother?

Which language will they speak to eachother?

Some enchanted evening ....

The union is being courted as we speak.

Look forward to some table thumping Friday night speeches when sanctions are forced sometime in the not too distant future.

Not hard to envision Mao like images ( insert General) on billboards around country with slogans dreamt up like .

""Together we as one can archive our twenty year plan""

The shocking thing for me in this swift fall to communist China so willingly is the lack of the Thai male population bravado .

It's kinda sad .

Thailand has had robust relations with China and North Korea for over 60 years.

What we don't agree on is the reason for the increasing "cozying up" to regimes that are severe human rights violators. You apparently see it as business as usual. For me the reasons are far more sinister.

Chinese Communist Youth League is quite a powerful force in China - just saying whistling.gif

trust you to support hugging the communists even closer

Better title -

Thailand - China launch new youth camp to further brainwashing exchange.

It's one of the few things China and the Prayut regime have in common.

They do not have a common cutlure with China under Communist rule.

Thailand should more productively lauch with the ASEAN youth camps to further cultural exchange among ASEAN countries. Then Thailand can become the Hub of Culture. With China, Thailand can only be a spoke.

Which language will they speak to eachother?

Thainese

Chinese. By the time these young lads become adults Chinese will be main language here. They are just here to get the lay of the land. China is offering all these loans like they have to so many other countries. China is the biggest loan shark in the world at present.

Case in point:

"Chinisation Phase 0.2" after the invasion of Chinese sperm.

"Youth Camps" indoctrinating and churning out militaristic young boys, akin to the "Hitler Youth", I imagine.

Yes Thais have themselves largely to blame......
