Well pressure issues shutdown Statoil Visund, resulting in the demobilisation of personnel from the North Sea platform, offshore Norway.

Statoil have confirmed the shutdown, stating the cause to be a build of of pressure in one of Visund’s wells, forcing the platform’s management to close the well and cease all production.
