Myanmar Tourist Visa

Can anyone tell me any process for aquiring a tourist visa for Myanmar. Have searched the forums but found nothing. Found a website but after completing the required details it when dead.

Any sensable suggestions gratefully received. Khon Kaen based.

The situation with visa on arrival is constantly changing. Usually, it must be a pre-approved visa. However, especially if traveling on Myanmar Airlines, it is worth asking the airline if entry visas will be granted on arrival without pre-approval. If so, I would definitely do that rather than trying to deal with the zoo at the embassy. There are plenty of agents who will simplify the process of getting a pre-approval for a VOA if you do not want to go through the application process yourself (for a hefty fee, of course).
