Open Mic by Nana BTS Thursday Nights

I'd like to let you know about a new Open Mic event that a friend and I have initiated, very close to Nana BTS station. It's every Thursday from 8 to 11pm. Everyone is welcome to come and either perform or just listen and hang out. Drinks and food are of course available.

Well, there used to be another open mic (OM), further down Soi 8 at DET5 with no problems whatsoever from authorities. There are also OMs at Fatty's Diner (Dindaeng Road), Queen Bee (Sukhumvit Soi 26), and at least a few other places in town where farang normally perform. So, if this is illegal, then it's just another of the things they don't enforce in BKK.
