Illegal motorcycle street racers were made to conduct community services in Ratchaburi

RATCHABURI: -About 30 motorcycle street racers in police custody were ordered to conduct community services at Ratchaburi provincial hall before they were released on probation.

The illegal racers who are mostly teenagers were rounded up by police and army personnel after they took part in illegal racing on the highway of Ratchaburi province on Sunday night.

The clampdown on illegal racing by the police and army force followed numerous complaints from residents in Ratchaburi provincial township of nuisance and loud noises caused by the street racers.

The illegal street racers were taken to the provincial hall where the annual Red Cross fair just ended. They were made to clean up the road in front of the provincial hall before they were released on probation.

"About 30 motorcycle street racers in police custody were ordered to conduct community services..."

Not sure if these racers are from well to do families, but the standard form of punishment in most countries would be loss of their driver's licenses for a number of years. This punishment amounted to a little more than "You clean your room and no dessert after dinner".

That'll teach them to be responsible citizens.

Was the car driving hi so mudrerer amongst them or was she too busy?

This little punishment was for the "illegal street racing motorcyclists" in Ratchaburi.

I don't think Praewa the Hi-So Honda gal qualifies in this instance.

Obviously no water shortage in Ratchaburi.

I find it amazing what the road looks like after a Red Cross Fair.

oh thats ok then she wasnt speeding at the time of her "incident", how her parents can even go out in public amazes me but they do say "they have no shame " just an inconvenience" I suppose.

real community service would have them licking the roads clean!!

I would force the parents of these "wairoons" to conduct community service. All bikes confiscated and sold at a public auction in their amphor. Might teach them a lesson, on the other hand: TiT
