Planning to either drive to hua hin from Don Meung Airport or rent a car in hua hin. Also, since i am a Malaysian, am i required to apply for International Driving Permit or i could just use my Malaysian Driving License? sanmyintmaung Posted March 22, 2016 Share Posted March 22, 2016 I would recommend getting a Toyota Yaris 1.2 or similar from Avis car rental at Don Muaeng Airport. Rental cost is about 1000 bahts per day. http://www.avisthailand.com/EN/index.php Required Documents Valid ID card or passport of renter and all drivers Valid driving license of renter and additional drivers (if any). International driving license may be required with the original local license. Valid credit card of the renter. Name of credit card holder must be the same of the driver.
