March 24, 201610 yr It's a Magpie Robin - very common in Thailand. Looks like a male - although the pictures are taken against the light so I could be wrong (females are greyer than males). Patrick

March 24, 201610 yr Author This lovely little bird is waking me every day for a little chat.And he/she likes to chat also during the day. Specially when I am spraying my garden.Hopping from place to place as near as possible to me. Does anybody knows what this bird eat?I tried to feed him/her normal bird food, but he/she don't like it.TIA

March 24, 201610 yr He's an insect-eater. Don't try to feed him anything; he'll catch his own. The pair in my garden eat the "small breed" dog biscuits that I throw for the doves.
March 25, 201610 yr we have 2 nesting in our garden the past 2yrs. fantastic singers[just like us welsh] They also like to whistle.... They are great alarms as they will whistle like mad if they see a cat or snake.... Learn to listen for them.
