Dose anyone know if I will have trouble getting a new SE visa from Vientiane

I have had a tripple from London, then a double from Vientian then single from Vientiane

Do you think I will have a problem getting any more from Vientiane?

Phnom Penh, according to some reports, is counting total tourist visas from everywhere. Thus, while the first from a specific consulate is normally easy, Phnom Penh might not be the best choice. Penang or Hong Kong should be fine though.

Hi, Specifically for Phnom Pehn, after having the first SETV there, once one goes back to say, UK, and then applies again at Phnom Pehn for a 60day SETV, would there be a problem? Is there a preferred time you know of when they set the clock to zero? Perhaps all on hearsay, but I wondered how many per year are possible, if there are trips home in between.

Good questions, to which I cannot provide an answer. I suspect there are no hard and fast rules. It is my impression that some consulates (certainly KL, and I suspect Phnom Penh) have their own concept of what constitutes a tourist, and will not issue tourist visas to those that fall outside their biases. Of course, their arbitrary rules are not documented so we are forced to speculate based on prior experience and anecdotal reports.
