I'll be heading to Phnom Penh with someone who needs to apply for a new Thai TR visa. I checked the Thai embassy website in Phnom Penh but there are no details of holiday closures. Will the embassy be open on April 11 and 12? If so, can he pay an agent to get the visa for him on the 11th, to be returned on the 12th? it would be a very long wait in Phnom Penh otherwise! Since the embassy will be closed from the 13th to the 15th and then there's the weekend. He intends to be back in Thailand on the 13th or 14th anyway.

It doesn't really matter how much it costs, I've heard $60 for overnight processing. Important thing is that he can get his visa the day after he applies. Is a travel agency better or should he just apply get his visa from the guard outside?
