Mate in E. Pattaya said Lake Maprachan levels were much improved in recent months. That's great news, hope ya'all get another good top up out of this. Things are a fairly bleak up in my neck of the woods. sad.png

Not according to this 7 day forecast by TMD for Surin. http://www.tmd.go.th/en/province.php?id=32

Or Khampaeng Phet.

http://www.tmd.go.th/en/province.php?id=8

1 pm on Sunday and no rain out by the Mae Wong national park.

It is cloudy and the wind has got up which usually means a bit of rain.

Khampaeng Phet had 1.6 mm of rain between 04 and 07.00 this morning. The first rain in 2 months.

As a blood red moon is slowly rising in the east behind the hills of Cambodia, it is a cloudless, hot, sticky and humid night in Jomtien/Pattaya.

The breeze on Jomtien beach has a clammy feel on your skin.

The Tokays are calling into the darkness and Soi dogs are yapping and howling from afar.

A sense of foreboding rises up from every dark alley and seedy dens of eniquity.

Thai Visa waits for the bad news to arrive and it will....many more threads with carnage and bedlam on these streets will make their way through the ether that is the internet...

Beware the forecasters of doom, pestilence, plagues and storms....

But, the real forecast is all good, rose tinted and filled with good cheer.

The current Gov. would not have it any other way.....biggrin.png

love this post.

The internet is depression personified.

Behold your doom biggrin.png TV members who take part in fornication and blasphemy:

2 pm Sunday.

Just to spite me it started to rain and carried on for about 1 1/2 hours.

A sort of gardening rain and it soaked in a bit, but by 5.30 the concrete around the house had dried out though I did hear the land give a little sigh of contentment.
