Grundfos Pump Repair

Featured Replies

Our house water pump has stopped working. It appears that the problem is with the pressure switch Does anyone know someone who could fix it ASAP?

Tried Grundfos in BKK but closed for the weekend.

Thanks

I was going to suggest going direct to Grundfos but as you say weekend. The next choice would be Siam East here in Rayong as they service Grundfos products on site and also have a service man that travels. But again weekend.

I doubt you will find a Grundfos repair spot now in Pattaya over the Saturday night/Sunday time frame.

On a positive note I have a MQ3-45 and the only problem in 6 years was the starting capacitor last year

Are you sure it is the switch?

Thanks to longball53098 for the feedback and DD13 for the PM.

It was the pressure switch which had given up after five years of loyal service. (Not Grundfos, but it does the job). The contacts had worn out. But good news is I got it replaced Monday AM by our local plumber, who knew just where to go and get one. Seems it is a common problem after a few years.

Thanks

Oink

our pressure switch just blew on Mitsubishi pump (must be the time of year) and our man got replacement in the shop in Pattaya Nua next to bus terminus at B700
