Is She A "Kathoey"?

There is a character in Killer Instinct named Sadira who speaks Thai. I posted a video of her above.

Based on the way she speaks Thai, is Sadira a "kathoey" (male-to-female transsexual)?

Many fans seem to believe that she is.

She doesn't sound like a kratoey to me, nor a native speaker.

Thanks for your reply.

Some people think that she rolls her "r" almost too much, as if to compensate for her American accent. As a result, many fans have theorised that she is a kathoey.

Looks definitely androgynous.

Looks definitely androgynous.

Do you mean the way that she speaks Thai?

Sounds like an American girl trying to speak Thai, definitely not a Thai girl...

I wouldn't be surprised if they just used Google translate and tried to copy the text-to-speech voice.

Thanks for letting me know.

So, she is definitely not a kathoey then.
