TRANG: -- Police have arrested a Trang man for allegedly raping his mother while drunk at their shophouse and threatening to kill her if she told anyone.

Anucha Khunpichai, a 47-year-old rubber tapper, was arrested at an oil palm plantation in Huai Yot district yesterday after his 62-year-old mother filed a police report. He was charged with rape and sexual assault.

Anucha denied all charges. Anucha’s mother, whose name has been withheld, told police she was raped by her son at their grocery shop at 4am on Thursday, where they lived alone.

I thought I had heard about what I considered the worst in human behavior, then this hits the news. If there is truth to this charge

the son deserves punishment, but what kind and how much? If he is mentally retarded some bleeding heart doctor may have a answer as

to what brought this about, but being drunk is a tad unbelievable to even be offered as an excuse.

Who would even want to be tasked with reinactment, the police are so proud of, who would want to hear a description of what happened

and determine what punishment fits the offense.? But then I think of the times we hear of fathers rapeing their daughters so I guess this

is same same but different.

There are some life forms and actions by same that are mistakes of mother nature and what she intended and this type of activity

should /must be near or at the top of the list.
