Somtamnication
Quick job by the police. But I have to agree with the villagers: the cops found him too quickly before they did.

macksview
vermin. if he is found guilty, and does some jail time, hopefully the victims family have the money or contacts in jail to remind him of his crime. he will be a nervous creep on his release. on the other hand, money changes hands in a compensation payment at village level. JeremyBowskill
Never a day passes without reading about some sex case doing stuff like this, I don't know the stats VS here and my home country but I surely read about it a hell of a lot more here. If found guilty, straight O.B.E, not a knighthood but One Behind the Ear and send his family the cost of the trial and the bullet. gk10002000
Vigilante justice sounds nice except when they get the wrong man, or the punishment doesn't fit the crime. easy to call for it when the crimes are gruesome, tough to hear about if the guy gets beaten to death when all the guy did was steal some things but people's emotions got out of hand. mobs can get unruly pretty quickl

Brer Fox
Vietnamese vigilantes don't mess about. LannaGuy
IF he is proved guilty (DNA etc.) then I have no problem hanging him which is what he deserves and no amount of 'group therapy', 'counselling' and 'group hugs' is going to turn this worthless piece of shit into a decent human being

gyrosman
I love the use of the word " ALLEGEDLY", again if Thailand had a crime lab called; CSI, would it be considered a comedy ? I don't think Thailand needs more foreign teachers who come here for 3 months to play. But, I think retired professional law enforcement specialist would suit their needs better. slipperylobster
I don't understand why he commented that her pants were sexy? Is that his defense? I remember farang ladies being warned that they could be raped if they wore anything sexy. This is kind of a cultural thing, isn't it? He might be insinuating that she was at fault for wearing (sexy?) pants. From the top on down to this mangy critter....wearing something that is sexy/attractive does not have anything to do with the crime. From the top on down to this mangy critter....wearing something that is sexy/attractive does not have anything to do with the crime. We've had presumably western posters on another thread saying women who are groped during songkran are asking for it because of the way they dress. It seems this ridiculous attitude that men who commit sexual assault can be provoked by what women wear and that women are to blame when this happens is alive and well across cultural boundaries. It's still BS for all that.

Either taken care of in prison or taken care of when he gets out You might be New in Thailand. If you notice previous News on raping cases most criminals are repeat offender. But now with the Pressure of Social media I think he'll be sentence to death like the previous Train rape case
