(2013 and earlier) I am planning for a 10-day trip to China this autumn. Has anyone dealt with the Chinese embassy in Bangkok lately? How long does it take to get a tourist visa? theoldgit Posted April 8, 2016 Share Posted April 8, 2016 You don't apply at the Chinese Embassy any longer, you apply via there Visa Application Centre on the New Petchaburi Road, visaforchina.org These are two more recent threads about the new Visa Application Centre: China-visa-agents and the thread about the new centre itself Chinese visas new application centre, both threads from late last year.
