Best price for a PS2?

Featured Replies

PS2's are pretty rare on BahtSold and Craiglist (about 1 per year!). Lazada is the cheapest I've found in Thailand at 4,400 for the console. I can import one from the US for 4,000 after shipping and import fees which goes to show how much cheaper they are in the us (about 1,500 baht before the other fees).

Does anyone know of a lower cost option than Lazada?

If you have half decent pc try this

http://m.coolrom.com.au/

It's a great website all the games are on there for ps1 ps2, nes, snes, master system, mega drive and more

Have a look anyway its great

Might be even cheaper to buy a cheap pc what can Run the software, then you won't have to buy the games

You will have to do a bit of research first to see how well the ps2 games run on a pc, they might run shit I don't know

Also it's possible to get some games running on a xbox360 but I don't know about the ps2 games

Not sure that PS2 buyers in 2016 are particularly picky about new vs used.

I have one for sale 3000Bt,hardly used. I am away until 14th May though !

Kind of stating the obvious, but if you haven't checked Ebay yet it might be worth looking there. A couple of years back I bought a refurbished European slimline PS2 from a business seller in Germany who specialises in that kind of thing. Cost me a very reasonable £46 in total (£34 for the PS2 + £12 postage to Thailand) which equates to about 2300B. And there were no import charges either. At least, not in my case.
